I have suffered for years with debilitating migraine headaches. After adjustments and the neck exercise program at Rock Chiropractic I have them less frequent and with much less severity. I came to Rock Chiropractic four months after having a baby. I was experiencing soreness in my mid back and tension in my neck. After only a few short weeks, I was pain free. Throughout the course of my plan to completely correct those areas in my neck and back, I have developed other symptoms that needed adjusted as well and Dr. Mix has been wonderful to change things around and meet those needs as they arise. Maybe it was turning the big Four-Oh last October or the constant OG (Old Guy) jokes from my two teens? Maybe constantly feeling tired? Not sure exactly but I decided I needed to get checked out and start taking a more active roll in maintaining my health. I went and had a complete physical done and started exercising more often. I renewed my membership to the Gym where I use to play racquetball, and actually started playing again. In Late December I started noticing a pain in my neck and upper back. I initially attributed it to a home repair project I was working on that turned into a major re-model of my living room. When the pain started getting worse, I started looking into chiropractic care. I was referred by a friend and due to the excellent customer experience my Kids and I receive; I have as well, referred additional patients. I am a 72 year old woman. About a year ago I began to feel terrible pains in my hips and legs. Though we are wonderfully made, our bodies often need repair and are constantly in need of maintenance. I know Chiropractics can not cure everything however, when the delicate inner parts of our devinely engineered bodies are restored to their proper place, God, the Creator and Great Physician, quitely allows the body to do what it was created to do.rnAbout 4.5 years ago, after 2 by-pass open-heart surgeries, followed by stint replacement and angioplasty balloon procedure, indarterectomy, kidney failure, gall bladder removal, thyroid imbalance, severe anemia, 40 # weight loss and muscle atrophy, I was on a slippery slope, staring death in the face.rnA friend recommended Rock Chiropractic, and Dr. McCartney started me on a road to recovery from being an invalid to working 40 hours a week, and mowing my 2 acre yard with a 20" mower propelled by me. The mower always runs out of gas before I do. All at the age of 77 years, 9 months!!! I work out at the gym 5 days a week, and I thought that I might ought to get a checkup to see how my spine was doing (my wife had great results by a chiropractor in the past). I wasn't in any real pain, but I thought, "better be safe than sorry".rnIt turns out that I had a mild case of scoliosis. With that news, I began to incorporate chiropractic into my life. This was a year ago, as I write this. The results have been outstanding. Not only do I never have low back pain (or any other pain for that matter), I have had many other improvements in my life due to my treatments at Rock Chiropractic.
